Query Language

The text search engine allows queries to be formed from arbitrary Boolean expressions containing the keywords AND, OR, and NOT, and grouped with parentheses. For example:

psychotherapy supervision

finds documents containing 'psychotherapy' or 'supervision'


Psychotherapy or supervision

same as above


psychotherapy and supervision

finds documents containing both 'psychotherapy' and 'supervision'

 

psychotherapy not supervision

finds documents containing 'psychotherapy' but not 'supervision'

 

(psychotherapy not treatment) and supervision

finds documents containing 'psychotherapy', plus 'supervision' but not 'treatment'

 

psychoanalysis*

finds documents containing words starting with 'psychoanalysis'
