Description of Services |
I am a
training/supervising/teaching/senior psychoanalyst for the Institute for
Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy of NJ (IPPNJ) and for the Southern NJ
Psychoanalytic Institute (SNJPI) and see candidates as well as people in
the community for psychotherapy and psychoanalysis. In addition, my
outreach work is done by collaboration among organizations such as the
American Psychoanalytic Association (APsaA), Division 39, and NAAP in my
capacity as a member of two APsaA Task Forces (Psychotherapy
Education/Training and Undergraduate Education) and the Psychotherapist
Associates Executive Committee, Member at Large on the Board of Division
39 and Past-President and Member of the Board of Women, Gender, and
Psychoanalysis (Section III), and recent past Board and faculty member of
SNJPI.
In addition, I am a professional business and life coach who consults and
provides coaching services for organizations such as the NJ Association of
Women Business Owners (NJAWBO) and the Business Network International (BNI),
and graduate students who are ABD, women pilots, corporate managers and
executives, small business owners, health professionals, homemakers, and
parents. My coaching is done in person and by telephone, individually and
with large groups.
As a “generalist,” I see individuals, couples, groups, and adolescents and
adults, and do not limit my specialties. My experience includes, but is
not limited to, anxiety, depression, relationship and sex/gender issues,
eating disorders, compulsions and addictions, and trauma. Currently I
consult/supervise psychoanalytic candidates individually and in a group. |
