Description of Services |
I am currently in full-time private practice. I see
adolescents and adults individually and in couple's therapy. I speak
Portuguese and have served the Portuguese speaking community by writing
articles in topics of psychology for Portuguese newspapers and magazines.
I conduct bilingual evaluations for the Portuguese children at the local
schools. I have presented several times in professional meetings in the
areas of attachment, sexual abuse and trauma. I have led workshops in the
community in the areas of violence, sexual abuse, divorce, and stress
management. I am a clinical professor at Adelphi University's doctoral
program in clinical psychology. I hold a certificate in the treatment of
substance abuse. |
