The Vassar College Counseling Service
presents an academic year, post-doctoral fellowship in college counseling
for a doctoral level clinical or counseling psychologist. The fellowship
provides an opportunity to gain experience working with students at Vassar
College, a residential, coeducational liberal arts college in Duchess
County, NY, consistently ranked among the top institutions in the country.
The mission of the Counseling Service is to provide psychological services
to Vassar students in order to promote personal development, facilitate
academic and social functioning and to increase overall coping skills. The
staff of the Counseling Service is composed of individuals with academic
preparation in clinical psychology, psychiatry, counseling psychology,
psychoanalysis, family therapy and clinical social work.
