Description of Services |
The mission of
the Child Development Center of the Houston-Galveston Psychoanalytic
Institute is to further the emotional health and educational development
of young children. This is achieved by using psychoanalytic principles in
our therapeutic school (The
Harris School), in professional consultations with
educators and parents through our outreach and teacher training (The
Outreach/Teacher Consultant Program), in evaluation of
children (The
CDC Clinic), and in training and research in child
development (The
Professional Training Programs). The children, with
the help of their families and teachers, can grow to be competent,
responsible, and successful. |
