Description of Services |
The Appalachian Psychoanalytic Society (APS) offers a
variety of educational and collegial experiences to mental health
professionals in this region who desire to maintain awareness of current
developments in psychoanalysis. Our organization is a Local Chapter of
Division 39 (Psychoanalysis) of the American Psychological Association (APA)
based in Knoxville, Tennessee with membership spanning Nashville and
Chattanooga, Tennessee as well as Asheville, North Carolina.
The Graduate Student Assistance Fund provides modest
funds to help defray the expense of attending psychoanalytic conferences,
presentations, and supporting psychoanalytic research. It is only
available to APS student members. |
